Catchweights are designed to make a fair fight of two men who are not naturally the same size, not give an unfair advantage to one of them....
By principle catchweights should never exist. If Floyd is supposed to be a light middleweight champ he shouldn't ask any rivals to agree on any weight below the limit. He certainly didn't do it in the past (DelaHoya, Jotto) so obviously he is not very confident of defeating Alvarez without having some advantage. As many others have already stated: Canelo has already a good excuse if he loses.

Floyd is skilled but the only thing he is not is fearless a catch weight just means what it means a 154 pound alvarez would be to much of a challenge one that he will avoid he is clearly weakening alvarez by fighting him at a make believe weight class im am not and will never be a fan at a non risk taker! I hope it back fires on him that would only be rite!

You can call me a hypocrite or anyone here a hypocrite, but the only difference is that I truly don't give a **** ass what you mother****ers think, lmao! I'm the last ****** who gives that **** a second thought. Canelo-Floyd is what you wanted. We will find out if 152 affects Canelo.

win-win for gbp, showtime, pbf and canelo...
