152 is alright. Canelo will not be drained. It's kind of silly though, was it really worth 2lbs and open yourself up for the criticism?
Reminds me of Cotto vs. Margarito.

No one seemed to mind when he gave into oscars every single demand, from ring size, weight to gloves. in effect he will catch alot of heat, but he does all the time anyway. it seems people get upset when floyd makes ANY kind of demnd even though hes basically earned it.

sugar ray leonard fought for a lightheavyweight title and didint even fight in that division, he made lalonde come in i think at 168, even though the light heavy and super middle titles were on the line, i think it also had a rehydration clause.

if mayweather did something like that hed be crucified. mayweather is held to a diff standard so any hate he gets just comes with the territory of being himself.

Oscar already proved you can lose and still be a huge draw.

Why 152 after he talked all that about fighting Cotto at his comfortable weight? Just because he can? I don't expect it to effect Canelo regardless.

Oh well this is the only fight that made sense for Floyd with Martinez on the shelf again.

Even if he loses he raises his profile and in a few years people will chalk up this loss to inexperience.

Will be a great event and props to Floyd for making it happen. I bet Showtime is ecstatic right now. No one is asking for the Guerrero receipts after tonight....
As far as casual fans go, if canelo gets Robert guerrero'd, it'll take him a while to overcome that setback.

Wow, just looked on Twitter and it's legit. Haha this is the only reason I have Twitter. I will say though it should be at 154. I have no real problem with catch weights if both sides agree, but Floyd made such a big deal about Pacquiao and catch weights. Whatever, good fight. Don't see Canelo beating Mayweather, but glad it got made.
