Ok, Schaefer just told me the weight for Mayweather-Canelo is 152. Both sides have agreed to it.
Well now people can say Canelo was weight drained if he loses.

I called it, knew Floyd wouldn't disappoint and would fight Freckles.

this one makes sense only because they are both lineaer champions of their respected weight classes. floyd at 147 and canelo at 154. when whitaker and chavez fought, it was at a catch weight because they were both undisputed in their respective divisions.

This is a no lose situation for Canelo.
He wins he is the new cash cow in boxing.
Even if he loses he raises his profile and in a few years people will chalk up this loss to inexperience.

Will be a great event and props to Floyd for making it happen. I bet Showtime is ecstatic right now. No one is asking for the Guerrero receipts after tonight....

If the fight comes off @ 154 and Floyd wins it will be amusing to see how you rationalize it.

I agree with you but after all the crap Floyd gave Pacquiao the last few years and him talking about how he would never take a catchweight, he is about to hear it big time...

Fight is at 152? Doesn't matter Canelo still whoops him. Props for Floyd for taking this fight atleast.
