The reason the Garcias have been quiet is because if Canelo doesn't come down to 147lb for floyd, Garcia is the winner of the Mayweather sweepstakes. Mayweather wouldn't fight Khan, the guy who Garcia KTFO to win all his belts, and he's not going to fight Alexander who would probably be more competitive than Danny, yet sell less tickets than the Ghost.

You call it assumptions, I call it a calculated guess. Fight Lucas for a million, or wait and see if I have the chance to fight the biggest boxer on earth for 3 million minimum. I think I would be quiet too, but I guess if you were Danny you would've signed the contract to fight Lucas right after the post presser with Judah.

I wasn't aware the mandatory to the champion had to prove himself again to get a title fight. I also wasn't aware that the WBC rules said that the mandatory had to earn a title shot a second time.

wow so if a boxer doesn't announce that hes fighting the next guy in less then 2 weeks he is now considered to be ducking and vacating the belts lol soon its going to be if after the 11th round the fighter doesnt call out his next opponents name(while on the stool) his is ducking and vacating all the belts or getting stripped..

It's clear that people have been and will continue to hate on Garcia, more than likely because of his fathers antics and because he's Puerto Rican. Let's see: he's been getting punched in the face and punching people in the face for the last fifteen years, since he was 10, he was right there with the petersons, bradley, ortiz, et al during the amateurs, he's been saying for months that he would fight the winner of peterson/matthysse in this clown ass 140 lb tourney, even though he already F*** up the so called champ with no belts, "King Khan Artist"...but he's scared? C'mon man! Sallgoodtho... overlook him by all means but, I like Danny's chances. Can't wait to hear the excuses when Danny wins.
