Dont hook with the hooker: Matthyse vs Garcia

I have heard that saying often and it never made any sense to me. If you have a good hook of course you are going to throw it even if your opponent has an even better hook. The idea is to land your hook and make his miss. Matthysse will win by KO because he is the better boxer and the harder puncher with either hand. I think Matthysse would KO the guys that Garcia did not KO.He does have a better chin than Garcia and he is faster. My money is on Matthysse by KO in 5 rounds or less in a short but exciting fight.I don't think Garcia will knock Lucas down. Matthysse has never been down or hurt that I know of.

Lucas is the better hooker. More accurate, more variety, more power.
Garcia only has a mid-range left hook that I've seen.

Lucas doesn't even need to be set to take you out. Look at the left hook he hit Peterson with, the fu.ck does the freak get his power from? Just seriously heavy handed.

Garcia has better timing and placement on his hook. Lucas can take you out with a single hook though.

If it comes down to the both of them landing on each other at the same time, my money's on Lucas being the one that's left standing.

How do you know Lucas has the harder 1??

All you have to do is look at him hooking and you know he has the hardest one did you not see him how he put Peterson on hes back? . Some masterful hooking indeed

If you watch Garcia fights, you will see that Garcia doesnt land a very hard left hook that often on his opponents.
