WBA cruiserweight champion Guillermo Jones (39-3-2, 31KOs) has his sights set on the heavyweight champion of the world, WBO/WBA/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko (60-3, 51KOs).

Two weeks ago in Russia, Jones captured the cruiserweight title with an eleventh round TKO of Denis Lebdev.

On Tuesday Jones traveled to Panama to officially receive his WBA championship. During the press conference with WBA Vice President Gilberto Mendoza, Jones stated that he wanted a "fight with Klitschko."

Yea, but you got to admit.... it'd be pretty damn impressive to see a man who once fought at WW fighting for a HW title.
Also Jones got some good attention from this.... the Klits will be looking at this

Well chances are good that the WBA will appease him being that he is Panamanian by birth and the WBA is based there.

The Klits would consider anyone with the balls to fight them at this point but their critics would cry a river for the reason you pointed out. (ex welterweight)
