Floyd's career is all about perception and timing. He isn't going to all of a sudden start takiing on all the toughest challengers just because his career is closing out. He is going to take on guys on the "upswing" who he has massive advantages over. If he fights a guy that he feels may have a shot, they will have to pay to play....154 come down to 147....see how that works? Alexander is next, the following will be 140 pounders moving up.

Not sayin it will happen, but my wishlist would be:

1. Canelo at 154 this September
2. Pacquiao at 147 next April or May
3. Khan in England at 147
4. Matthysse at 147
5. Broner at 147

and what people aren't talking about, is Floyd's 50th fight, which will be number 6. Floyd will either go for 50-0, or he'll need the money at some point. And for his 50th, I'd want him to go to Middleweight and fight Sergio.

Now, this is all too good to be true, but if I were Haymon, and Floyd was down with all of this, this is exactly the kind of legacy I'd try to have him leave behind.

In my opinion as of right now Mayweathers next 5 fights will go down like this but obviously can change.

1. Canelo - Ginger gets his wish even though I think he should let it marinate for a bit and become his own PPV attraction hell get his shot next. 1.4 - 1.8 Ppv buys

2. Winner of Khan / Alexander. I think Alexander wins but either way the winner faces Mayweather in the first part of 2014.

3 Manny Pacquiao - The long awaited match up finally gets made a couple of years to late but still the 2nd biggest Ppv all time.

4. Winner of Garcia / Matthysse ( I can see this being his 3rd fight and Manny being the 4th fight.

5. Broner - I think this is gonna be some WWE shiz Mayweathers switching up his persona to be the good guy and Broner will be the new ifighter fans love to hate. Broner will be lured by the big money and start insulting Floyd and calling him out. I don't think Broner wins but it'll be a passing of the torch.

Obviously things can change and depending how things play out there may be some dark horses in the running : Bradley / Thurman but I think Floyd wins those 5 fights and after its all said and done he's pretty much the champ in 3 divisions and he'll have defeated his rival ( Pacquioa ) and the next in line ( Broner ).
