Im sure diffrent states have diffrent laws, but in my state, child support can go well beyond the age of 18,in the child continues education

Who among us has never tried to shirk our responsibilities? Who among us is perfect?

When we're in need of help, and no one is around to provide it, it's hard-and humiliating-enough. But to be told, in different ways, that we "deserve" it, that we "should have known better", and then left to suffer, is the extra twist of the knife that we can all do without.

Try to help. Or don't. But I find it sad when people dismiss him and his situation. There are many, many, many more parents who don't even pretend to care about their children.
I guess there ARE some ppl out there who are not so quick to judge when they dont know
      the entire situation. Good post

In NY child support doesn't end until the child is 21. You can get scrub jobs at the ages of 14-16, but the typical 40 hr/week, able to lift 50 lb, technical etc jobs are set federally at 18(?).

Maybe Evander should have gone Mormon.

Man get outta here with this nonsense. Let's face it, Holyfield, Tyson, and all of those high paid fighters have lived lives that most of us dream of.

No need to feel bad for a guy who was making millions per fight, one of which I remember him cracking $32M. That's like me feeling bad for Manny this past December, then I thought about it..."Man, this dude just got knocked out for $20M+, and just why do I feel bad for him?"

I've seen people get floored like that on a drunken Saturday night, for free. The same goes for Evander, had he not smashed all of these women with no protection, and hung around a bunch of yes men, then he'd be better off right about now.

Smh this is just sad. What person would give in to the demands of a desperate man. At this point Holyfield will fight for 75k.

I bet he wishes he didn't skip the money management and planned parenthood meetings.

Holyfield Needs 3 Fights IN 90 Days @ $200,000 Each; More Than Fair!

Holyfield is in good enough shape, even at his age, he could find 3 tomato cans to fight where his name alone should draw him $200K each fight. Fans love him in Argentina, in China, in Africa. Joe Louis in his prime had the "Bum Of The Month Campaign", where he lined up a fight every 30 days, just to clean out the division and stay active. Now I'm not aluding to Holyfield cleaning out ANY division, but he should be able to line up 3 fights for chump change and get child support off his back. Had you not fathered 10 or 12 kids with 4 or 5 different women, you wouldn't have this problem. At some time Holyfield, as much as we've loved you for years, you need to wise up and use your brain, if it hasn't already been scrambled. Forget the Klitschkos.. they idolize you, and are doing you a favor by NEVER fighting you; you'd get a worse beating than Ali took from Larry Holmes. 3 FIGHTS... $150k, to $200k each. Stop sitting on the bench thinking you're going to get a multi million dollar payday. It's time for you to go to work, fight often, and get your debts paid.

Evander Holyfield always claims he won't retire until he wins the title again.

In reality he won't retire until he can no longer produce a baby with a 25 year old woman.

There is a saying among smart men when talking about women.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 9 times, shame on me.

**** him. If he weren't a famous boxer all he would be is one of those hypocrite scammer Pastors asking for your money on a local cable channel at 7am on Sunday.
