I'm not sure why you replied with this to my post. I didn't say it was close, didn't say Froch was winning and didn't say there was any need for a rematch.

What I did say was Froch was never hurt and never close to being stopped. Kessler was far closer to stopping Froch than Ward ever came.

Secondly, contrary to popular opinion imo he stands a better chance of beating Ward by attacking him in the early rounds. Last time Froch stood and boxed with him early, that's a road to nowhere. Ward isn't the greatest starter either, Abraham took a couple of early rounds off him.
He got handliy beat outpointed is saying it a 105-103 type decision Froch was never in the fight and they way you want him to the 2nd time is a way for him to be further outclassed. Froch admitted he couldn't beat Ward his only hope is for a funny decision. Nothing that involves boxing Frocg does better than Ward they are classes apart and Ward doesn't owe him anything by fighting in the UK thats bonkers.

There's such a thing as earning another shot and Froch has clearly done that.

your post suggested you disagreed about froch getting his ass whooped.

we agree about earning another shot. but I just dont think there is a need to fight again, except for the money.

WLad klits opponents have earned another shot but the outcomes are still the same. thats what I see here.

Getting your "ass whooped" is what happened to Bute against Froch.

While it was a convincing victory for Ward, at no point did he whoop Froch's ass.

Money is a pretty big need.

I don' think any of Wlad Klits opponents beat guys like Bute and Kessler to re-earn their shots.

OK in that logic if he earned another shot how does he dictate all the terms then; cause that would suggest Ward needs another shot at him when he cleary doesn't he done what he needed to do at 168 he needs to move-up

He dictates the terms because he's the bigger draw. Sad but true. Ward will not find a bigger fight anywhere else.

yes they did they beat the guy's ahead of them and earned there way back. they may not be as good as kessler or bute but thats because 168 is deep and hwt is trash.

semantics. there is more than one way to catch an ass whoopin.
