Sometimes you have to be careful what you ask for. When Joe was in his prime nobody wanted to fight him. that's why he was unknown to most people until he beat up jeff lacy most people don't know. but Roy Jones wanted no parts of him back in the day. that's why Roy started jumpin weight classes. joe's quick handed stick and move style was crazy he beat beat Chris Eubank back in 97' for the WBO title and in 2006 he beat a prime undefeated Lacey don't forget a prime undefeated Kessler in 2007, and back then both Kessler and Lacy were laying dudes out!!! I think ward is one of the best. and a fight like that would be a real contest. Calzaghe may just have enough to seriously test ward, or even pull off a shocker. I used to call him the white Ali. Joe was that nice. Any body that thinks B-hop beat him needs to re-watch that fight. It wasn't pretty but it was enough to win. I'd buy that PPV!!! If Calzaghe were able to beat Ward he'd definately go down as an ATG, but there'd be absolutely no glory at all for Team Ward if he emerged victorious, maybe a bit of shame.
It's definitely a chess match I'd be willing to pay for and HBO has the money to make it happen now that the entire Golden Boy Roster is at Showtime. Imagine the fuel Froch would get if Calzaghe were to announce he'd consider facing the winner of Ward/Froch 2. Of course this is my 2 cents, for all I know Calzaghe could be walking around like Ricky Hatton.Comment

Really Calzaghe is overrated, He beat a limited Lacey and a green Kessler struggled and should have lost to Robin freaking Reid, He was dropped by an old Roy Jones and couldnt even knockout and man with a glass Jaw, he eeked by an old Hopkins. I like Calzaghe, but he is british all-time great because fighter from the UK have all been never been great. So as far as your dorage statement, those white fighter from the UK have always been punching bag and bleeders and the best fighter that ever repped the UK Lennox Lewis was black. Loyd Honeyghan had the best win of any UK fighter and hes black. and we will not talk about what Mayweather and his do-rag did to Hatton sent his mum and girlfriend home crying and him into a cokehouseComment
