I think Froch knows he can make a lot of money in the UK and I wouldn't be surprised if he never leaves the UK to fight again.

He was making a lot of money before he left the UK to fight in America, the only reason he took fights in America was because he wanted to get his profile higher and thus him going to Jermaine Taylor to defend his mandatory belt. He makes more money fighting bums in the UK.

everybody at 168 has had the balls to fight out of their comfort zone. even somebody like mikell kessler who was long accused of hiding out in his country have gone out and went to the UK and america to fight other champs.

everybody has had the balls and guts to do the right thing except andre ward who was the only fighter to have home court advantage throughout the tourney and his entire career.

I hate how Froch is using his belts as leverage. Ward is the true lineal 168 pound champion.

I think Ward should fight overseas for a change, but Froch shouldn't be acting like he's the true champion because he has a couple of belts.

It's all about leverage in the eyes of the public. It is not really relevant in the big picture that a few hardcore boxingfans knows who the real champion is. It is like when Tyson was champ before he met Michael Spinks. In the eye of the average sportsfan, Tyson was champ because he had an alphabet collection. In the real world Spinks was the linear champ.

(Not comparing Tyson's dominance to Froch here obviously).

This fight has to happen in the UK. It will be MUCH bigger if held in the London O2 arena. Here in the states this fight wont draw much interest.

I believe that Ward will dominate him regardless of where they fight. From a business standpoint though it will be much bigger if held in London. In the states you'd be lucky to sell out a 5k seat circus arena. This is a win/win for Ward. He will dominate Froch on his home turf and make millions in the process along with worldwide recognition.

The UK fans cant handle defeat. They like to throw things at the ring after their fighters loose. I wouldnt want to go over there if I was Ward.

Does anybody really have that much interest in a rematch? I mean, take out the novelty of Ward flying to another country and fighting in his opponents backyard, and is it really that compelling of a match? He was completely dominated by a one-handed fighter without a hint of controversy to report from the last time around.



Froch doesn't really want Ward again, and Hearn certainly doesn't. Let them go in their own separate directions. As long as they continue to fight credible opposition, who cares?
