It's impossible to not respect Carl Froch.

Booked his spot in the HOF tonight for definite as far as I'm concerned.

Watching Froch fight is like watching the old guys like Marciano, they might not be the most skilled but the heart, determination and love for a war is some of the most exciting action you'll see in any sport.

He and Ward are tied for my favorite fighters in the sport. Froch is the ultimate over-achiever, and how can you hate an over-achiever?

Agree, a fighter who doesn't have the best physical tools but utilizes everything to it's max potential, gotta love Froch.

To suggest Carl can't box with the best of them when he needs/wants to is a little disrespectful. He was the first British fighter to ever win a medal at the amateur worlds, you don't manage that without some serious skills.

Rarely you see a HOF fighter have their chin as their best feature but this just might be it

Not sure he's made it yet, lost to the only elite fighters he's ever faced. The win over Kessler goes some way to alleviate his first loss but that was a much faded Kessler compared to the version that beat him the first time and it was still very close. IF he beat Ward in a rematch he'd be there, or he could get there by going down the Steiglitz, Hopkins and possibly Dawson route. Either way, he needs to avenge his only unavenged loss or unify against Stieglitz and win a title at LHW.

Or, since he's talking about avenging defeats, he should probably avenge his TKO4 loss to Peter Manfredo Jr. Yes, I'm serious, that actually happened.

He's made a fool outta me i never thought he'd become half the fighter he has, i picked Taylor over him, then Dirrell, then thought Kessler would slice him up for a stoppage but that was very very close, i then picked Abraham, Ward and Bute too! The guy has fought everyone and he entertains too! Pure warrior, granite chin, subtle skills, fitness and conditioning, Iron will, size, presance and solid power make The Cobra a force to be reckoned with!
Its his attitude that sets him apart though he is what u want in a fighter, boxing would be a better place if we had more Carl Froch's in it!
