Go tell that to Andre Dirrell - a fast, slick fighter who while competitive didn't have an easy time with the slow, skill-less Froch.
Froch has become really good at the subtle, understated things that good fighters do and most fans don't notice.

yah i think people confuse a great chin with a great heart....froch has a good chin, but it's not an ATG chin...

Styles make fights. He can come back the next fight and knock someone out the way he did Bute.

The truth is Carl Froch lost to Dirrell, lost to Kessler. Almost got taken out by Taylor who is not a 168 pounder. He beat an AA, he beat Bute and Pascal - these are his main victories at 168. He is the biggest overachiever in any sports. He is slow, so off balance, so sloppy, Kessler lands 55% on him. The guy beat Kessler by a round or two. Kessler right now is a bad copy of what he used to be years back when he fought Zaghe. Kessler was so slow in there and Frocuh was missing with some punches by a foot or two at times not inches. His results tell a different story. He's cagey and strong willed and has a good stamina and chin. However, his skill and talent are not elite and you can't argue with that. His best win is Bute who got knocked out by GGG wearing a helmet. To me his best victory was over Pascal, he won at least 7 rounds against a very game and underrated fighter.

Froch isn't a crisp fighter but he still gets the job done.

Yeah he is slow but I wouldn't say he is "SKILL-LESS"

I like George Groves chances against Froch I will say this, and it wasn't because of today's fight or anything like that, I think any fighter with some speed and some slickness and is slippery enough to avoid Froch Power...CAN BEAT HIM! I think Groves can do that while beating Froch to the punch with his Hand Speed!

Yeah Groves haven't been test I get all that but styles make fight and I think Groves style would be a horrible match up for Froch at this point in his career against a young fighter who is extremely slick

Are you serious? Let me guess another butthurt Kessler fan? Both guys have brilliant chins! Froch has been in with Taylor, Abraham, Kessler x2, Bute all very good punchers and took monster shots without flinching.

Why does it always have to be HOF/ATG and come down to a **** measuring contest? I genuinely find it pathetic when people/fans of the sport have to go back several decades to try prove a point.

There is no denying both guys have solid whiskers. Now we'll play your game, name me better super middleweights that have fought at world level with better chins.

                    thats just his style

everyone always goes on about him keeping his hands low but its a tactic to get his opponent to come in and leave himself open. it works every time.

                    great fighter

Holyfield got knocked down and out against James Toney does that mean he didn't have an ATG chin?
Foreman was knocked down and stopped by Ali, does he not have an ATG chin?
