On the other hand Canelo is still an up and coming star. He can still fight a guy like El Perro without feeling the pressure from the network/s to pull in big numbers like Floyd. With every win after Trout Canelo only becomes bigger and bigger. He can tell Floyd to go fkuk himself like he did for the May 4th bout and continue to build his stardom.

If Floyd is smart, he takes the fight in sept while he still has the upperhand when it comes to $ negotiations. The bigger Canelo gets the harder it will be to come to an agreement. It will be Floyd/Pacquiao all over again.
      Yawn...

Floyd doesn't need Sal, Sal needs Floyd. How do you not understand that part of the equation?

Floyd can easily fight someone like Khan in England, sell out a Soccer Stadium, go platnium with the PPV, while defending his WBC 147 pound crown ( You do realize he is the top dog at 147), and still make at ****load of money at the weight he's most comfortable at...if he chooses.

So what exactly is Sal bringing to the table, Floyd doesn't already have right now?

Mayweather-Khan would probably make good money. Khan has the most loyal fans I've ever seen and Mayweather has lots of fans that will pay to see him fight just about anybody. It is not near as big a fight as the Canelo fight but Floyd gets at least 32 million for every fight now if I understand his deal with showtime. I don't think Floyd will fight Canelo. I will bet ten billion points or any part of it, even money that Floyd will not fight Canelo next. The bet would be payable when Floyd's next opponent is officially announced. Anyone wanting to bet on this, please pm me.
