I don't think its any secret that Golden Boy has wanted Mayweather-Khan for awhile now, and will desperately try for as long as the fight is remotely feasible.

I can't picture it happening now, though. Mayweather doesn't do that.

Well Khan does like to run his mouth and does like to make himself out to be more important than he actually is.

Also having a second albeit lesser option is a good thing for negotiating purposes because Floyd will get paid either way and Canelo's check will change dramatically even if he fights Cotto which is a pretty big fight. That is Floyd's leverage right there.

I could see it but only as a last resort sort of thing, I personally wouldn't mind it because I have always wanted to see Mayweather wreck Khan but I could understand those that wouldn't dig it. It would be a guilty pleasure really~

If true and he's using it as leverage it wont work. Canelo knows Floyd's ppv against Guerrero flopped and that Floyd needs him in order to pull in big #'s. Sure Floyd/Khan will be big in the UK but it wont do big ppv #'s nor will it be a major attraction here in the U.S. For the sake of boxing please dont let this be true. Khan just went life and death with a C-level fighter.

When are ALL the fans going to understand that Mayweather could care less what you think/care about/ or want!!! This guy nhas his deal in placve and he's in charge of the show, get it!!! I don't know or understand why this guy has done what he's done because he is a very talented boxer and athlete!
His record is everything to him and he thinks that beig undefeated is what his resume and history is all about!! Not sure why he doesn't understand that a great champ fights his best challenges but its HIS show and his WAY!

Mayweather vs Khan is the ultimate joke!! To me this guy has gone to far with a match up like this! Its insulting!! If he does this he's a joke to me and all though I don't regard him as a great welterweight by any means he is a terrific talent who prefers to rip off the public!! He knows he can do too!! Ray

Who cares... He has 5 fights left and you guys are acting like its his last. Let Khan get KO'D to earn his little pay day. He has 5 more fights and people are already crying. I really want to know what happens to boxing when Floyd and Manny are really no longer in the picture.
