Prime Oscar De La Hoya VS The Pacquiao who fought him?

I know it has been talked about many times around here, just want to see what the posters who actually saw Oscar fight at his prime think? If you are too young or a casual fan please don't comment. IMO. Oscar would KO Pacquiao at any weight from 135-147 in his prime.

Agreed. The Oscar that fought Pac wasn't even at top ten contender level. He would have been beaten or stopped by any decent fighter that night.

Prime Oscar beats any 140 147 fighter today and the version of Pacquiao that he fought. The guy had more skill than people seem to remember or want to give him credit for.

I don't understand why people act like Oscar wasn't any good. He was one of the best, gave Floyd the hardest fight since the Castillo fight. Oscar should have never fought Manny At 147. He hadn't fought at that weight in many years.

I completely agree though I think prime Oscar would have beat Floyd as well. He shouldn't have fought Manny at 147, I think he himself bought the hype that he was going to walk right through Manny but can you blame him? I think we all did! Still one of the most shocking outcomes to me. As for all the hate it probably has something to do with his personality and his transvestite hobby.

                  Agreed.

Manny is still my favorite fighter alive today but that fight doesn't even happen against a prime Oscar and even Freddie Roach said this. Oscar would KO Manny. Manny would be too little; As a Matter of fact, Oscar beats any fighter at 147 and 154 today. He would even beat GGG at 160 as well. For those young fans who think he's so great. The Oscar that fought Vargas at 154 and was trained by Floyd Sr. beats GGG.
