And being a unified titlist, and holding a win over Mimi Me Mayweather would make Alexander a very attractive opponent for Floyd.

This isn't the golden age of welterweights. Devon is good and there aren't many better than him at 147, calling him one of the best is not a stretch.

Anyway I think this would be good fight, Khan has said many times that he struggles to make 140 it'd be interesting to see if he could improve at 147

Why not? They can call the fight "The Big Payback."

I personally have Floyd, JMM, Pac, and Bradley ahead of Alexander. So if I had to classify it, I would put Devon at the top of the second tier of welterweights. I lump him in the group with Ghost, Berto, and Providnikov, all of whom I think he would beat. I also would pick him to upset JMM. I wouldn't pick him to beat Pac as of now. But the jury is still out on how Pac will come back from the KO loss. As for Floyd and Bradley, not a chance.

Same here, Pac and Bradley are the most interesting opponents for Floyd at WW but Alexander is the best of the rest.

Speed yes maybe a marginally better outboxer, but Devon definitely has a sizable advantage on Khan infighting.

You have a point about Khan but he doesnt sitdown on his punches enough. Hes a pitty pat puncher at times. And Devon is confident right now. The WW division is getting compact at the 2 thru 6,7 spots.

Unfortunately, Pac and Bradley are both Top Rank guys, which makes Alexander the best welterweight option out there for Floyd.

Alexander vs Mayweather could be one of the worst fights ever entertainment wise. Instead of a slugfest, it'll be a hugfest.
