    Clutch Fighters/Performances

I'm well aware of the stats and analysis out there across the sports world that says clutch doesnt exist.... but who cares

    ---

Who are some clutch fighters or what are some clutch performances (example late KO when down on the cards)

A few that come to mind....

Abraham knocking out Jermaine Taylor, i think the fight was close at the time.

Marquez putting Manny to sleep was pretty clutch considering the direction the fight was going in

Mayweather seems very money, pun intended, he's always super chill and relaxed. Rarely do you ever see the moment get the best of him (Mariano Rivera/D. Jeter style).

Ali was pure clutch. He set the highest expectations for himself, and almost always came through.

Lucas got robbed, but came on late vs Zab and Alexander the twat

Froch cranked it up late vs Pascal and against Taylor

Lennox stepped it up late in both Holyfield fights

Castillo got robbed in the 1st Floyd fight, but overtook him late in a tough fight, and later he did the same vs Lazcano

Roy had to rally hard late in the 1st Tarver fight and did so

in his prime, Ouma took down guys like Powell, Verno, and Candelo in late rds with superior stamina

piss drinker closed the show late vs Casamayor and Diaz in close fights

If you google Clutch you will get Roberto Duran! Duran would take meaningless tune ups out of shape and in poor condition. This made him an underdog when major fights came his way. Duran had a lot of big fights where turned in amazing performances. Can't get more clutch than that!

Did Taylor even win a round?

I remember Abraham dealing with Taylor much, much better than Froch did even though his style was so basic. That display really **** on Froch's win over Taylor, which is truly a clutch moment.

Down on all cards, 10 seconds from losing and he pulls it out of the bag.
