It has to suck for that weight class...without Ward, any of the other top 4 could beat one of the others and claim the number 1 spot...with Ward there, everyone will simply be competing to be number 2.

Well if it's between Ward and B-Hop next then I'd say Froch will go with whichever one is willing to fight in the UK.

V likely. What I would say for Froch is that if he is to go to the States the one thing he hasn't had is a fight at the two best places.

Vegas with all the glitz and glamour - he deserves a fight there after a tough career and Hopkins Ward match up is the kind of place that would be deserving of that, Froch has a big enough following to bring a load of the 'Brit Army' across the pond.

Or MSG - few days or a wk in New York - fans will travel in big numbers for that too.

It's true: Ward repeatedly asked Eddie Hearn to come up with a big purse in order for him (Andre) to cross the pond and fight Froch in the UK. B/Hop did the same.
It's also true that Ward had his left hand broken before the Frroch fight...

I'd like to see a Kessler-Ward rematch. The first fight didn't sit well with me. I'm sure Ward can outbox Kessler, but the excessive clinching/deliberate butting spoiled the first contest. Ward should have been DQ'd.
