Should be fun while it lasts. Would be funny if Vera beats him. Chavez Jr's eye did take a beating vs Martinez. So you never know.

I think Vera is kinda small and by fighting at 165 it forces Chavez to cut more weight than he should. Just a guess.

Vera is in for it. Chavez could outbox Vera. That's how bad of a fight this is.

This is slightly better than the Peter Manfredo fight.

True, should be a fun fight while it lasts. Jr might be exhausted from the year lay off if it goes past 6 rounds.

Chavez wants to stay at 160 and will probably end up fighting Murray in his next fight for the WBC interim belt. Then he'll finish the job against Martinez next year and then administer an all mighty beating to Golovkin.
