I think Matthysse beats Alvarado in a war similar to the 1st Rios fight. I have Abril embarrassing him(I realise this will be controversial to the fanatics) over 12.

That excessive clinching isn't gonna work, Matthysse will hit him behind the head (rightfully so) and go to work. Abril doesn't have the workrate to compete with Matthysse either, too inactive. Matthysse beats Alvarado as well, better at cutting off the ring than Rios.

Hmm Alvarado definitely gets murked. He can box or he can inside fight but he's very similar to PEDerson actually.

Abril on the other hand, that's a tough one. He can box but he posseses less power than Alexander and Judah and would definitely not have Lucas' respect. I'd call it a 50/50. Might give Abril the slight edge actually.

Lucas knocks Alvarado out in a few rounds. Abril gets beat down like Ajose did, too tough for his own good.

i dont think too much of abril. i thought abril beat rios but i wasnt impressed with him in the prescott fight. matthysse is much better than prescott in every department. matthysse drops abril at the very least if not stopping him.

I think he kills Mike. The abril fight would be close like zab and locas. lucas has gotten much better since then so I'll give him the nod.

I think he breaks that tall lanky body of Abril's down and stops him as well. Abril has the ability to make it hard though. Abril sure as hell wouldn't be able to sit inside and win the fight like he did with Rios at times.

People are forgetting about Abril at 140 because he not with GBP but I think Abril style would give Matthysse some MAJOR problems, I think that shoulder roll would work great against Matthysse because you have to stay inside with Matthysse and smother his Power instead of backing up and giving him space to get off with his Power, also Abril is a very smart and clever fighter like many of the Cuban fighters because they was properly trained while coming up as fighters

As for Alvarado, I think Matthysse Stops Alvarado though, Alvarado backs up too much and his footwork is not good enough to fight at a distance against Matthysse to try and out-box him

But Abril is forgotten at 140 which i unfortunate but his style gives anybody at 140 serious problems
