No no noPlease you try to come off al knowledgeable and **** but then say Gatti was past it when he fought Floyd

In reality Gatti could never beat Floyd in any shape or form, if that was the case Gatti would have beaten Angel ManFreddy but he was stopped. We all know what happen when Angel fought Floyd .
In any case I hope Floyd does fights Matthysse so I can see you haters continue to make excuses and cry about how Matthysse is a bum.
Gatti was done. Through wars and wars.
Although Floyd would have beaten Gatti at any time
he gets no credit for beating Gatti who was a shell of himself.
Also Floyd beats Lucas today.
Floyd should be fighting Canelo next.
There is no other credible ppv opponent.
And yes I am more knowledgeable than u.
It's ok.Comment

Because the Floyd fans get mad at even the notion of an upset. They literally get mad when you want to see Floyd fight ANYONE, then say things like, "God, I hope they fight, so Floyd can expose this clown." Instead of, "good fight, I can't wait to see it."
They live vicariously through Floyd, so anyone that gets mentioned in the same sentence as Floyd, they are automatically an overhyped, POS, bum.
"OMFG, you guys are hyping up his KO victory way too much!"
Meanwhile in LALA land, 300 threads about Floyd beating Robert Guerrero for goodness sake.Comment

how can you tell? based on fantasy fights? matthysse has beaten 3 fast handed boxer types. judah, alexander, and ajose. for a slow brawler those guys barely landed clean punches on him and he punished them all. mayweather has only fought 1, maybe 2 fast handed boxers his entire career. judah and delahoya if he counts, and he got dropped and staggered vs judah and looked less than stellar against hoya. don't be fooled by his cherry picks. lucas would easily destroy the slow cherry picked opponents that floyd has fought. You guys are reaching. Lucas Matthysse had close fights with Zab Judah and Devon Alexander.
He's a good 140lber but Mayweather is truly elite. Keep it real, Lucas just isn't on Floyd's level. Floyd would box his ears off en route to a wide decision.
Don't kid yourselves.Last edited by daggum; 05-23-2013, 10:07 PM.Comment

If that's what you think I'm doing, go ahead and believe what you want. And you guys will be the same guys who bought into the hype with Ortiz and Mosley being too strong for Floyd. Buy the Lucas/Floyd fight if it happens but don't come crying to me when Floyd puts on a boxing clinic on Lucas because he isnt ready yet. And no, power isnt the equalizer, good boxing skills does, which Lucas is lacking. And FYI I'm not a Floyd fan, just speaking the truth.Comment

Just like how floyd went up to 154 to beat Oscar coming into the ring at 172, No courage? #FACEPALMFloyd wouldn't need to go to 140. Matthysse would come up to fight him, he has that type of courage; something Mayweather does not. He'd never fight this guy. I like when Schafer calls Canelo "Another Pacquiao", he's laying the ground work for why they will never fight Canelo, never fight Matthysse, never fight Pacquiao. Hit too hard, and too dangerous. Period. I don't care how much smaller Matthysse is than Floyd. At some point Floyd would get hit, and he'd get knocked out. Matthysse has that kind of power, and "WANT".Comment
