Absolutely although I feel if you put Devon in with the right guy he can bring some things to the ring. But thats on Devon you know. He has to make himself a star. Its not Floyds job to put him on the map.

And if he fights Devon and flops on ppvs, he will be desperate to fight someone like an Old Martinez, because he is the only one who can produce numbers. Martinez, Pac, Canelo, and Lucas IF he beats Danny, and beats Madaina. That match up will be huge for argentenian fans, and also make him bigger.
I'm confused. I was actually in jail when Floyd fought Ghost. But I read on Dan Rafael's blog that the fight did over a million PPV buys. Exactly why would Floyd's, "pride be hurt" about that?

Word is it might have been lower, around 900k. Makes sense that it might have been given the switch to Sho. On HBO it would have been a million flat or more.

well devon will have to wait as he can't fight in september, yes deveon is simlar to floyd problem is floyd does everything better than he does, stronger, quicker, hits harder, smarter, better defensivley and is probably bigger

The fight did 870000 ppv buys. A source told Dan every detail, and Dan spoke about it on twitter. When Dan spoke about it on twitter, espinoza was very defensive and actually argued with him about it. The VERY NEXT day, Espinoza claimed the fight did a million buys. But on Dan's chat, he assured that the fight did exactly 870.

Dan Rafael reported a million. And knowing how much he hates Floyd. If Floyd had fallen short of a million, he would have reported it. If it were merit to the numbers being a little inflated, he would gladly report that too. I expected the fight to do about what Floyd did with Ortiz. And by all accounts, that's about what it did.

No its because they didnt even promote the fight. They had no kick off pressers to get the word out. No one even knew it was going down.

Maybe Alexander should fight Robert Guerrero. If he can win as convincingly as Floyd did, he might prove to be a more worthy challenge than Robert.
