I get you hate hisfather but alot of you saying he is garbage and stands no chance, but then in the very next post this is going to be a great fight. WTF if it's going to be a great fight vs a garbage fighter then matthysse must not be that great either in your words. Garcia will fight him and it will be even that much sweeter on September 9th when he's still undefeated

Danny is a solid fighter but I do think he'll be white washed by Matthysse. Garcia will be drawn into a slug fest then it will be good night for him.

We could've said the same about Canelo before he fought Trout, and you were a huge fan prior to that fight as well. People like styles and KO's, you should know that since Canelo knocking out old past prime, and smaller weight class fighters impressed you as well.

I wasn't a fan of canelo til after the trout fight. it was me who made the thread that said trout should face Floyd. I even said Saul had faced nobody and why should trout have to fight him. as of now, I'm a canelo fan. he impressed me in the trout fight with his elusiveness,patience and power.

Come on man, Don't act like Garcia wasn't a 7 to 1 underdog in the Khan fight. Nobody expected him to win that fight, Khan hadn't lost "legitimately" since Prescott before that fight. Alot of people felt Khan even beat peterson. So we can't use the Khan has a glass chin excuse, before the Garcia fight Khan was vanquishing all his opponents except for a scary round in the Maidana fight. This is the same Khan Tim Bradley wasn't really excited to fight with. I'm not that high of Garica, but give the man his credit.

he was only 7-1 because he was unknown at the time. of course nobody expected him to win.

I'm a fan of both guys. I don't think either walks through the other. What I find almost hilarious is people say Danny is wild and swings wide, (which he does). But these same guys don't mention that Mattysse also gets wild and wide. Or they crap on Danny's resume, like Lucas' is any better.

Both are excellent fighters. Both get wide, both get hit, both are tough and both have underrated boxing skill. Garcia has the edge in size and counter-punching strength. I believe the fight is 50/50. I don't see how either gets put away early, cause let me tell you, Garcia is infinitely tougher than Pederson.

Khan was supposed to beat Danny fairly easy, and when Danny KO'd him everyone says hes just a cann with no chin.
