At this point in time there's more money in Matthysse, but Golovkin has the potential to be massive if he gets the opponents.

i'd have to first take a look at the contracts that they've established with their promotors.

if you're just talking about earning potential i would say that it's matthysse. golovkin doesn't have any cash cow opponents in his weight class. martinez is his biggest fish, that that's just an hbo main.

matthysse has two. pacquiao and mayweather. 30% of those purses is a lot of money.

GGG, I think he has a better future and has more skill. He has the possibility of being a truly great fighter. I like Lucas, he's a very marketable guy but I think hes not as complete as GGG.

Really? Martinez and Chavez Jr are bigger stars than any WW or JWW not named Floyd and Pac. And Pac is with Top Rank so you can forget about Matthysse ever fighting him.

while Matthysse is better in the short term because He could be fighting floyd in within the next 12 months- I'd go with GGG.

HBO loves him nand they have far more subscribers. He has opportunities with Canelo (once the GBP/HBO crap ends),Martinez, Quillin, and then Froch, Chavez jr and Ward.

Lou Dibellla doesn't think enough of GGG so he will never get that especially had bad Sergio has looked. I doubt Chavez Jr ever fights at 160 again

Watch his latest interviews, he said if GGG beats Macklin he deserves to fight Martinez. He's been saying nothing but nice things about GGG as of late, he realized that HBO is investing a lot of money in him and he's garnering a lot of hype very quickly.
