So who does Canelo Alvarez fight in September??

If Canelo isn't fighting Floyd or Cotto, I don't think he should be on ppv. Cotto probably won't be on ppv without either himself. And I hope that if Floyd ducks Canelo his 70 dollar ppv flops.

My guess is, if Floyd and canlo do end up fighting, it won't be until September of next year. I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd fights Garcia in September(GBP gonna try cashing in on Garcia before he's destroyed by matthysse lol), matthysse fights whoever(maybe khan?), canelo rights whoeever, cotto fights whoever(looks like k9?) This September.

Come next may, cotto and canelo square off. Matthysse and Garcia finally square off. And Floyd fights....dunno. But that's how I imagine things shaping up.

This is how it's playing out. Canelo is fighting Abner Mares. Garcia and Lucas will get made but Garcia will pull out due to a (new injury). Peterson and Judah gets made. Cotto fights ishe or k9 because he has all the leverage. Done..lol..And The year ends off with Khan geting Ko'd again by soft touch Devon because even he has enough to KO khan

i find it funny that ppl actually want canelo to beat up on cotto. even if he doesnt fight floyd, why would that be an ok fight for him? i get why he would wanna fight cotto, but why would fans be ok with it? ppl criticize guys like floyd and manny for cherrypicking. well, they paid their dues. if canelo is cherrypicking this early in his career, u really should start questioning what that means.

I think that's a pretty big jump to say its Canelo/Floyd just because Cotto found another opponent.
Maybe Cotto doesn't want a third loss in a row?
Maybe Showtime doesn't have the budget to do a Floyd/Cherrypick fight and Canelo/Cotto in the same month?
History says when Floyd's camp starts the excuse making early then the fight will not happen.
Hope i am wrong but I don't see Floyd ever getting in the ring with Canelo. Too many easier fights he can take to protect that 0.

i personally think floyd will fight alexander in september. canelo will probably have an easier opponent, like ishe or something...although i've just seen on boxrec that ishe is fighting molina on the 19th july.

if floyd canelo isnt getting made i hope canelo fights lara or angulo. i think lara will win the angulo fight and i also think he is better than people give him credit for. as someone else said he is high risk low reward for canelo but i think he is the best opponent other than floyd.

bundrage - cotto will happen, its a big fight for k9. he has somehow managed to get, he'll take the money he earns and retire. cotto will probably stop him and it will make him look good, then he will probably fight canelo next year.

Nelo will be forced to fight the king....he talked his way into the classroom and now he has to sit his young ass down and get schooled in the weight class he's considered THE MAN in....so Floyd will join another undefeated fighter named Calzaghe as the only men to hold the ring belts in 2 different weight classes at the same time.....legacy type ****!!!
