Why make the fight? He can always do a Rid**** Bowe and throw that belt away and say he’s waiting it out for Floyd Mayweather, but instead he went to the fight, saw Peterson lose, and now he’s taking the fight. You guys like drama and antics watch WWE.

Psst.....he hasn't taken anything yet, and he still has 4 months to throw the belts away if that's the case.

He needs to make that fight because:

1. Lucas has been his mandatory for about a year & Danny took other fights instead of fighting him, and
2. Danny & his pops have been acting like they don't know who Lucas is

Anyone could go to a fight, don't mean that he'll fight the winner. He said Peterson would win - only reason he said that is because he wanted Peterson, not Lucas. Guess what? He got Lucas instead & he was shook, gulping & the whole nine, like he was in the ring.

Don't talk about antics & WWE - that's where Danny's father belongs & that's one of the reasons why dudes want to see Danny get KTFO, despite the fact that Danny, although limited, does find a way to win. But IF he takes the fight, he hits a wall, or I should say the wall hits him....

But its pretty ****** because bobby wasn't having a quasi tournament whereas gbp is.....and to top it off, they matched their best fighters at '40 and the winner gets Khan? ^^^^^This, SMDH. You must not have seen the look on Danny's face when Peterson got KTFO. He's shook & will continue to do so, during training, pressers, etc. & after the fight when he gets KTFO.....

I said Matthysse, "fights like a bum." I didn't say he "was" a bum. He has good handspeed, power, a subtilies to his game that makes him a tough out for top guys. That said, his hype far outweigh his skill set, IMO.

BTW, I can't stand Danny nor his dad and hope he gets his block knocked off.

So if Garcia opts to fight the best fighter in the world and receive by far the biggest payday of his career, it means he's ducking a guy that lost to Devon Alexander and a washed up Zab, and best career win is Lamont friggin Peterson. Lawd please save us from ******ity.

the fight is worth 5 times as much to each fighter now than it would've been a year ago. This is the job of al haymon and GBP-to maximize the profit margin.

Respectfully, alot of posters want a fight when they want it but don't take into consideration this is the fighters job. In any line of work if you want to maximize your pay. No different here.

I know on NSB you get a bunch of clowns who want to fit everything into ducking and cherrypicking etc. But if you step back and think if Garcia fought Matthysse immediately both fighters, GBP, and HBO would lose money.
