Anything can happen in boxing, I believe Garcia has improve and can definitely pull off the win, he is the underdog but not a massive underdog to me, I remember the Maidana-Khan hype and how sigs of khan and Maidana was going around with khan landing 400 odd punches and Maidana landing one single punch and fight over. Well we all saw what happen with Maidana gasping for breath from a bodyshot to shut everyone up. I would not make that same mistake again.

Umm how do we know he doesn’t hit harder then Maidana? They both fought Old Morales and Maidana didn’t show as much power against him as Danny, and the Khan fight? ended in 4 by Garcia, Khan goes all 12 with Maidana, keep trying hater

Im not wasting my time with you. Those were shots they didn't see coming. It doesn't nessecarily mean he hits harder.

He should quit, I already made a thread on i won’t really give him props on anyone he fights now because he ducked the real comp back in 08-09. With ppvs 70 bucks i refuse to hype guys like Matthysse to fight Floyd, it would be total domination

I said Matthysse, "fights like a bum." I didn't say he "was" a bum. He has good handspeed, power, a subtilies to his game that makes him a tough out for top guys. That said, his hype far outweigh his skill set, IMO.

BTW, I can't stand Danny nor his dad and hope he gets his block knocked off.

Gotcha - won't nitpick ;-). Southpaws who can box are his problem, hence the debatable 2 losses. But with Lucas, you have to command his respect, keep him off of you. If you can't keep him from coming forward, it's a wrap. That's the only knock I have - we really haven't seen him get clobbered. Maybe he takes it really well, or these dudes he's fighting just don't have it.

the fight is worth 5 times as much to each fighter now than it would've been a year ago. This is the job of al haymon and GBP-to maximize the profit margin.

Respectfully, alot of posters want a fight when they want it but don't take into consideration this is the fighters job. In any line of work if you want to maximize your pay. No different here.

I know on NSB you get a bunch of clowns who want to fit everything into ducking and cherrypicking etc. But if you step back and think if Garcia fought Matthysse immediately both fighters, GBP, and HBO would lose money.
