I actually think Thurman will win. But, impossible to say. There is something Matthyse like in the way Chaves fights, and I find him exciting, both of them actually. Chaves seems to accumalate a little more, in terms of damage, over Lucas, who has more one punch power.

Thurman looks very good too. He looks way bigger than Chaves.

Extremely looking forward to this fight. It's a great one.

Why do people see a black boxer and assume he's slick and skillfull?

Thurman looks awkward at all times in the ring, he's the opposite of a natural fighter. Chavez crude? Take a look at your profile pic for crude.

He is very crude. Slow, sloppy, wide, horrible defense, chin in the air, constantly off balance & over-reaching, extremely stiff and people are only banking on him because on paper he is a puncher. The reality is he is not a big puncher. He is extremely slow on his feet & very flat footed.

Thurman should not have any problem disposing this guy. If he plans on following Thurman in straight lines, bolt upright do expect him to be leaving that ring on a stretcher.

A fair few think this guy has a bright future, I don't think so. Hes just a standard Argentinian journeyman with zero movement.
I don't see nothing special in him.
There is probably half a dozen Argentinian welterweights who beat him alone.

I'll take any bets and give 3:1 Thurman knocks him out & probably doesn't need 4 rounds to do it. In fact hes beaten better fighters. This guys not as good as a faded Zaveck or a faded Quintana.

Awkward is not always a bad thing. Richard Abril looks pretty awkward at times and he's a terrific fighter.

I can't believe some people here compare Matthysse and Chaves. Just contrast both fighters records. Chaves best win wouldn't even be consider as a tune up for Matthysse. Chaves looks great against weak opposition. Anyway, he still has a punching chances against Thurman.

I'll just give you 50 billion if Thurman doesn't stop him how about that?
Its not that I am sold on Thurman I just don't think a lot of Diego Chaves at all.
