Gonna have to tell us the one thing he did, that has kept him in an undeserving spot.

You don't like him ? Fine......but his name doesn't belong, at all, in this topic.

That's.....not what the topic question is looking for.

Why was Corrales' fight with Mayweather a big-time fight ?
Because he won a world title, defended it 4x in a year...over very solid opp., & was a prolific puncher.

Why was his first fight with Castillo so anticipated ?
Because he had two excellent fights with Casamayor, one with Freitas...won more titles....& was the best puncher in the sport.

His fight with Castillo is one of the best fights in history.

This guy has done A LOT. He has given a ton to the sport.

Thank you. I don't think you could ever say the Castillo fight made Corrales. If you're a world champion, you've already made it, as Corrales was before the Castillo epic war. Buster Douglas was defined by one fight. He got a ****ing video game deal after the Tyson. Goes to show you how idiotic some rich folks are. "Let's make Buster Douglas Boxing"...

Leon Spinks kinda qualifies. Sure Spinks isn't a legend at all but apart from his one win over Ali his career record is nothing more than club fighter!
