Have to feel for Pulev, seems like he's doing his best to fight challenging opposition but is instead getting mislead and messed around. What a twat Fury is, the dozens of interviews he'll be giving trying to talk up whatever easier opponent he ends up facing are going to be jut as nauseating as when he was trying to justify avoiding Price.
Will Tyson Fury duck Kubrat Pulev?

If Fury is fighting Haye then you can't really call it a duck. Haye is possibly the 3rd best heavy out there.
Plus, Pulev is now mandatory for Wlad's title and his whoopin will be sooner rather than later. Pulev hasn't lost out at all.Comment

Pulev has been inactive for a long time, waiting for Adamek and then Fury. Wlad is fighting Povetkin in October so Pulev will be waiting until 2014 now.
If Fury really has a fight with Haye lined up it's not a duck, but the rumor is that he's fighting the faded Adamek, a blown-up light heavyweight who fought at welterweight in the amateurs.
Adamek has taken too many punches from big HWs like Grant and Vitali, he's not the same fighter he was a few years ago.Comment

agreed! the Adamek fight, if real is a joke. In terms of Pulev, as he is now recognised as mandatory, there is nothing stopping him from taking fights to keep busy, he could even have 2 fights if he was really that desperate. 2 easy opponents, a bit of a work out, a paycheck and a guaranteed shot at Wlad at the end of it all. What's not to like about that?Pulev has been inactive for a long time, waiting for Adamek and then Fury. Wlad is fighting Povetkin in October so Pulev will be waiting until 2014 now.

If he ends up fighting Adamek, then I will find it impossible to support him given the Price incident as well.Pulev has been inactive for a long time, waiting for Adamek and then Fury. Wlad is fighting Povetkin in October so Pulev will be waiting until 2014 now.

Adamek is still rated as a top 10 HW, both Ring and Espn have him at #5. If Fury does take that fight I don't have an issue with it. Still hypotheticals at this point however.Pulev has been inactive for a long time, waiting for Adamek and then Fury. Wlad is fighting Povetkin in October so Pulev will be waiting until 2014 now.

Good post. I agree 100%.Have to feel for Pulev, seems like he's doing his best to fight challenging opposition but is instead getting mislead and messed around. What a twat Fury is, the dozens of interviews he'll be giving trying to talk up whatever easier opponent he ends up facing are going to be just as nauseating as when he was trying to justify avoiding Price.Comment

If he fights David Haye instead of Kubrat Pulev its hard to say he ducked Pulev...
He just potentially lined up the biggest fight possible for the heavyweight division so you can't really say he ducked him for fighting the less superior fighter.Comment
