As someone who's seen three or four GREENberg fights, then I'm afraid I'll have to crush your hopes Joe. Sorry mate.

He's just a mediocre contender, the sort of guy that will be lucky to get British & Commonwealth and would struggle to get European. He'll certainly never get a legitimate world title (big four belts)... I'll stake 100mil on it.

He's lazy in his output, and there's absolutely NOTHING special about him whatsoever. Everything... chin, punching power, stamina, etc. is AVERAGE.

The big selling point on him as a boxer is that he's ***ish. I mean, so's Jackie Gleason, but it doesn't mean I'd want to see him lace 'em up and get punched in the head.

    Quite poor.

The guy can fight but he certainly won't rule the heavyweights EVER let alone for years to come. He might get a world title fight but I doubt he'd win it. Rahman, Toney, Brewster, Klitschko, Peter, Byrd, Lyakovitch would all beat him and easily beat him. He's British/European level at best. And he's SMALL. Maybe cruiser would suit him better, I certainly don't envisage him doing much at heavy.

JoeBoxer did you not see Greenburgs last fight?

If you genuinly think Greenburg will dominate the heavyweight division, I can only assume you've never seen him fight before.

Greenberg is a good young prospect, but no more than that. he looks to be a good boxer, i seen him easily beat Julius Francis even easier than Audley Harrison did. he's not comparable to Lennox Lewis in any way at this point, Lewis was physically bigger, stronger, and a much bigger puncher.

Greenberg has fairly quick hands, but nothing else really. He'd beat Harrison, Williams or Skelton.. but that'd be as far as he goes. Since the Commonwealth title has turned into a bunch of horses piss, not the high level title it used to be, he could pick up that by beating Williams or Skelton or if it gets vacant or whatever.

He's nothing special, he's average. Why even start a thread about him?

Yeah, you should have started a thread about Chris Eubank instead, Joe. There's not enough of those around.
