Not true, If anything us fans are the one that supports fighters from different countries as long as they're exciting. If Lucas continue to perform the way he is he's gonna gain a lot of new fans and support from the us crowd.

If he knocks out a string of name guys like Garcia, Broner, and some ex-Mayweather opponents like Guerrero and Ortiz then maybe. But it's still a stretch.

The small Argentine-American population really holds guys like Lucas and Sergio back.
I agree with you, but what if he starts going the Latino route and just the argentine population. Golden boy should've put him on some of the Mexican holiday under cards to get his name out there with the Mexican crowd at least cuz everyone loves a knockout king

What gets you more exposure? Being on the undercard of a fight, where maybe a few people will watch you, or headlining on Showtime?

Even if it's a Floyd/Pac fight, no one in the audience is gonna show up until the main event, and people watching at home are too amped for the main event to enjoy any other fights.

He needs to add someone in his entourage like Roach.
Getting Robert Garcia might also help in the Latino population.
You know it's not always about skills in the ring.
It's about seeing who you're with when you're introduced.

im surprised so many people think he has chance to be a ppv star i dont buy the argument that tries to compare him to martinez they are not similar and most boxing fans want to see fighters like lucas im a bigger fan of a pure boxer but i think the same fans that like pac man marquez the ones who like gatti even mike tyson etc etc etc will become big fans of lucas also mexican fans love those type of fighters i just dont buy that the only way a fighter can become a ppv star is by his own country look at ward he cant get a ppv without the likes of ggg or chavez

KOs are the reason why mofos are into boxing. Its what made Tyson into a beast and a legend.

WTF. EVERYONE loves those type of fighters. Try to get your casual non mexican friend to watch a boxing chess match. They'll turn it off quicker than a gay ****. Well, maybe not a gay ****, but you know what I mean.
