Comments Thread For: Angel Heredia Doubts He'll Be Able To Work With Canelo

WBC junior middleweight champion Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez is considering the addition of a new strength and conditioning coach to his team ahead of his September return to the ring, according to Ben Thompson of fighthype.com

Alvarez is coming off of his biggest win as a professional on April 20th, as he defeated a very determined Austin Trout over twelve competitive rounds inside of the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Despite the victory, Alvarez seemed to slow down over the second half of the fight, with his work rate noticeably dipping.

Canelo does need something to change with how he does his conditioning, but I hope he goes for someone less questionable.

In the words of Erik Morales when discussing the final Jmm v. Pacman fight, "the Mexican pharmacy was just better this time." Hahaha don't believe he cheated but I must admit, that was hilarious.

Just cause JMM iced Pacquiao dont mean he was juiced. JMM has knocked plenty of guys out. Was that perfect punch was all. Rios didnt have superhuman power right?. and if u diss Alvarez for his conditioning i hope u feel the same way about Broner, hes very young n gets tired as well. They both need to work on that

It's already confirmed that he's working Alex Ariza which is a great replacement.

JMM has hit pac with the perfect punch in 3 prior fights, but never hurt pac like that... given that Memo has clearly stated that he has PEDs that would defeat any kind of testing, if you connect the dots, its telling us that JMM was taken them Memo power pellets

Rios didnt have superhuman power right?.
Rios only had a few weeks to work with Memo... didn't get the full cycle probably

broner's stamina isn't as bad as the ginger... broner is always very consistent with his attack. the ginger's punch output fell off fast after the 5th or 6th round
