Paulie is in his prime, right now. He was never any better than now (I never saw it), and Broner should get ready for a marathon, if I know Paulie. Paulie will not, can not beat him, physically, but he could run him, potshot and move, if Broner comes in soft, under trained. Paulie's legs with Broner's weight gain could add up to a second problem.

In his prime, Paulie only lost to top level guys. In his last fight, he IMO lost to a guy that just dropped a UD to Shane flippin Mosley this past Sat and was the mark that allowed a washed up Erik Morales to grap up a paper belt not to long ago. A primed Paulie outclasses that guy.

I used to like his footwork and his hand speed but one day I realized the truth: this guy doesn't have a chin, and he doesn't have any power ! Against Broner I see Malignagi getting knocked out or losing a unanimous decision ! Trust me, the first time Broner lands a big shot, Malignagi will be looking panicked, like he always does when he get's caught, and running for his life the rest of the fight ! Malignagi will be reduced to trying not to get knocked out ! just trying to make the distance, and then claiming he thought he won at the end when he knows he didn't win !

Chavez jr. just like I thought came short when he faced an elite level apponent and Canelo well he's proving that he might be the real deal. No chin?! Paulie might not have much punching power but he definitely has a chin, the guy is tough as hell. Have you ever seen the fight against Cotto? He fractured his orbital bone and his jaw was so badly damaged his face swelled up like a balloon, the guy is a warrior. I think Broner wins this fight but I won't be surprised to see this go to a decision.
