Kevin Cunningham, trainer of IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander (25-1, 14KOs), advised BoxingScene.com that an x-ray showed that his boxer broke his fifth metacarpal bone on Saturday night in Atlantic City. Alexander will wear a brace for four weeks, and then he intends to return the gym. Cunningham ensures that Alexander would be ready to fight in the fall.
