People thought Matthysse stopping Peterson early was a ridiculous prediction. I don't think Garcia is as durable as Peterson either.

I think I'll put my money on Garcia being able to take a better shot than Peterson. Peterson is durable no doubt but he has tasted canvas against Bradley and Khan who aren't punchers, Ortiz is a heavy hitter though.

Sorry Lucas all you do is depend on your power Garcia can take your punch and he's going break your ribs with body punches this will be somebody who has power to fire back and your not used to that Garcia by 10th round knockout with a body shot

It's not like Garcia is the perfect boxer. He's there to be hit. If Judah was able to hurt him what do you think Matthysse is going to do?

Peterson has been dropped early many times he alwasy takes 3to 4 rounds to warm up he'll even pillow fist Bradley dropped him it really shouldn't be that surprising that with Lucas power and Lamont's chin that he was knocked out early. Danny would have knocked Peterson out last night also. Danny can punch he aint no light hitting dude.

Thank God I'm not the only one seeing this, Lucas has not faced anyone to really test that chin, Alexander is not a puncher, neither was soto or Olusegun.... even Mike Dallas. The only one who had a decent punch was Judah and he didn't land that many quality punches on Matthysse anyway.

Fight of the year. Anybody saying Danny is scared it gets ko in 3rds is crazy. Danny is a slugger, he takes no steps back and throws vicious haymakers. He might not win but this will be no cake walk.

Agreed thats what makes this matchup so great. Im all for it. The only one who wins more than the fans is probably Haymon since he has a piece of both fighters.

Honestly this is the best fight that can be made at 140. Lucas can be hit, Garcia can be hit, Garcia has a chin, Matthysse has a chin, Garcia has power, Matthysse has power, both guys got equal speed. Matthysse is way more aggressive and hits harder but Garcia is slicker and has better accuracy. It's like playing checkers with dynamite. These two ain't holding back ****, Matthysse certainly isn't. I mean everyone can say what they want but if Lucas lands his power flush Danny might be going to sleep and Danny has just as much power to put Matthysse away if he lands flush its a toss up fight and NEEDS to happen

Like Judah said......Matthysse hits MUCH, MUCH harder than Garcia does. MAtts is going to walk through him and break him down. He might last a few more rounds than Peterson as he is a tough SOB but he won't be able to hurt Matts and he will keep trying to trade fire with fire. The only thing is it'll be like a Bic lighter against a flame thrower
