                                The ref. smoger wanted to stop it right when Peterson got up but was very hesitant, lucas is an extremely hard puncher and smoger knew it, but he gave him a chance and was itching to stop it the moment another clean punch landed and he did. peterson was going to get seriously hurt if Lucas was allowed to tee off you have to protect him there. good stoppage.

                                    lucas' power will translate to 147, because he has spectacular punching technique to go with his ability to not only land vicious shots via overcommitting but he can also **** a guy up badly with short compact punches (this was what really hurt Lamont in the second round at 1:00, straight right hand, and the short hook in the 3rd that put him down hard)
