Who did better against Judah : Matthysse or Garcia?

Sorry if somebody already made a thread like this.

Who do you think did a better job against Judah? Garcia or Matthysse?

Yes I know Judah got the official decision over Matthysse, and regardless of the winner, the fight was closer than Garcia/Judah in the number of rounds won BUT Garcia did lose 3 clear rounds in a row and was getting tagged and hurt by Judah towards the end of the fight, Judah made Garcia look a class below him at times, and he's not known to finish strong...

Garcia. No question that he won.

Lucas fought a dumb half a fight, and paid for it. I thought he won, but I don't cry robbery about it.

I said AT TIMES. When he was hitting Garcia with the same combination over and over again. Zab looked like the superior fighter in those last 3 rounds.

You could say Garcia did better because he won the fight and he really did win the fight, no doubt about it. I voted that Matthysse did slighly better because he fought a younger Judah and there was also no doubt in my mind that he clearly won the fight. Garcia was hurt and in trouble and in danger of being stopped. He got through it ok and won the fight. Lucas was never hurt by Judah or ever in any danger of being stopped and was in controll the whole fight and should have won. Lucas did lose some rounds but he won most of the rounds in my opinion. If he fought the same Judah that Garcia fought I think the Lucas of today would knock out Judah in 6 rounds or less. In a few months most questions about how Garcia and Matthysse compare with each other should be answered. I understand why most voted that Garcia did better and a don't disagree with them but those are my reasons for voting for Lucas.

Garcia, and he did it against a better version of Judah in my opinion. Matthysse is a better fighter though, all he needed was one adjustment through some of his struggles against Alexander and Judah, that was to start faster.

Garcia did because Matthysse had a horrible habit of starting slow. He doesn't do that anymore.

Garcia had a more consistent performance against Judah than Mattysse

i watched most of the judah fight recently with the sound off to sharpen some of the points i was making in a discussion in nsb. i didn't score it, but i felt that it was relatively even early on. i had a problem with judah getting the decision, especially considering that he was dropped. matthysse won the fight. judah said matthyse hit him hard as hell, and hurt him bad. i believe him. that guy can ****, and he's willing to throw.

garcia probably won more rounds against judah, and he put him down. i have only seen that fight once, and that was when it was live. i'll probably catch a replay soon enough, and if i see something i missed i'll report back. i keep my dvr full of fights, and generally watch at least a few rounds every morning while i'm doing paperwork in my office. i have not scored that fight. i never score live fights. maybe once a year.

garcia landed some bombs on judah himself, put him down hard, hurt him, and cut him.
that said, garcia looked hurt late in that fight. matthysse was never hurt in the judah fight.

i guess it would depend on what you are looking for, winning more rounds or doing more damage.

both are very good fighters. i can't wait until the fight.

lucas beats garcia, winner [matthysse] gets khan and knocks him out, and then matthysse goes on to lose to adrian broner at 147 lbs.

zab judah has had a lot of success early on with a lot of fighters. i think matthysse was either forced to, or planned to start off boxing against judah. he needed to wait for him to slow down so he could cut the ring off. other than khan, who starts out flying and was a horrible style/size for judah, judah almost always does well early. he can **** a bit, and he fights well in the center of the ring.

if boxing matches were six rounds judah would be such a rough go

outbox a guy for 4 rounds and then coast.
