One thing I learned from watching Floyd's last fight is that Guerrero would beat 95% (if not more) of the fighters from 140-147!!! The Ghost is no slouch, he definitely comes to fight and win.

It's just funny that people comment with such certainty on stuff they know absolutely nothing about. I don't know anything about the details of fight negotiations and don't even like to speculate much. I'll just cool my heels and watch it play out. Oh, and laugh at people getting so heated when they don't know jack.

In between the haters and idolizers there are going to be some people with egg on their faces. But the haters will keep hating and the idolizers will keep idolizing no matter what.

I know that Canelo has become the new hope guy for the "Please Kick Floyd Mayweather's Ass" fan club. But personally, I'd rather see Floyd go ahead and take a shot at Martinez for the middleweight title. I know, I know, Martinez is now supposedly a diminished version of himself. But from a historical standpoint, its a much more meaningful fight than Canelo, if fought for the middleweight strap. A title in a 6th division, and a 4th lineal title, would really cement Floyd's legacy. And if he's gonna go for it, now is the time. Because Martinez's reign is nearly over and from a physical stature standpoint, Floyd isn't gonna be able to compete with whomever takes the belt from Marty. Hopefully, this is something being considered in the Floyd camp.

And for all the Canelo jock riders. I know you'll say this is a Floyd fan wanting him to duck the great Canelo. Pump your breaks. Floyd has 5 fights left on his Showtime contract, which leaves plenty time for a Canelo showdown. And if you're a Canelo supporter, the later the fight happens the better. Because I think the version of Floyd the fought Guerrero boxes circles around Canelo. Let Floyd's legs wear down a lil more. A stationary Floyd is a lot more beatable for Cinnamon.

If Broner beats Paulie, I'd still like to see he and Ghost do their lil grudge fight. Don't know if that's a route Broner's gonna wanna go though. Because after he beats the hell outta Paulie, he'll be a welterweight titlist, and there will be some calling for a "unification" with Floyd. If he goes out and beats the guy Floyd just beat, it would probably send **** in a frenzy to see that fight. And I don't think Floyd or Broner wants that.

As for Guerrero beating 95% or whatever, disagree. I'd make him a pretty solid underdog against JMM, Pac, Bradley, and even Broner. And of those four, the only one I'd probably pick him to beat would be JMM. And that's because I think JMM is past it. It was very clear in his last fight that his best days are behind him.

Floyd Sr talks a lot of ****, he's back training Floyd for one fight and you think he already knows all about Floyd's business decisions? Even Roger who's been training Floyd for most of his career doesn't know much about the contractual details of Floyd's fights. It's like trusting the big guy that Foyd uses for bodyshot practice.

ghost probably can't beat 95% of boxers 147-140... that's way too high a percentage

when people talk about prime opponents for Cherrypicker we are talking about Margarito, Mosley, Cotto (at 147 before the Marg fight), and a prime Pac

Guerrero, Ortiz, Hatton... none of these guys presented a real danger for Cherrypicker, hence they were fought in their primes.

JMM needed his power pellets to beat Cherrypicker
