Really!!! Who in their right minds thought he needed his legs against De La Hoya and Cotto. Who in their right mind thinks he'll need his legs against Canelo. Canelo is not out boxing Floyd. And Canelo doesn't have the stamina to chase him around the ring either. No judge in Vegas will have Canelo up after 4 rounds. Unless he clearly is... If and when this fights takes place. The results will be the same as the other 44 for Mayweather. So all this back and forth about the negotiations is irrelevant.
nah... its good that it came out that cherrypicker wanted to fight at 147 lbs, so that cherrypicker will be shamed in the public and fight the ginger at 154 lbs.

if the ginger can make 154 lbs weight limit, then that's that.

Or are you one of those folks who's willing to overlook this hoping Mayweather is fool enough to agree to something like this all so you folks can rejoice if gets himself knocked out cold?
I dunno why flo.mos are so scared of this scenario... the ginger isn't gonna KO cherrypicker. cherrypicker is too good, but you gotta fight the fights to claim a victory. at best GBP can pay off some judges to rob Cherrypicker, but Cherrypicker can easily counter this by writing in the contract that he gets to approve of atleast 2 judges. Then the ginger can only get 1 paid off judge.

Just add Canelo to the long list of inferior guys that you tards think beat Floyd. Meanwhile I'll still order Canelo-Cotto. When it comes to negotiations...the fanatics haven't the slightest clue wtf is going on. Mr Schaefer ****ted all over you Mr Knowitalls, lmfao!

That's what I as a mayweather fan find so amusing about all of these posts from you and other non floyd fansz. You actually think that you are shaming him into doing something. You guys actually think everything you write about him matters to those who will determine his place in boxing history..

There must be a way to negotiate this fight without all of the hyperbole. Yeah, so lets let the interested parties work out their differences without fan hysteria and prejudice.
Like I said, when you have 2 guys holding a belt in the same division, weight is never negotiable unless you're DLH and a joke of a titlist in that division. But DLH at least stepped in the ring with Hopkins, who's bigger than Canelo. Plus Hopkins only had to concede 2lbs, sounds like Floyd is asking for 7!

Cotto has no issues stepping in vs Canelo or 170+ Trout, and he's proven not as good at SWW as Floyd. Loads more small guys had no health concerns stepping in the ring with Alvarez: Lopez, Hatton, JC Cotto. Mosley was a shot to **** welter and didn't get hurt. But I get it, you see something in Floyd's style that would get him hurt bad against less blown up, closer to prime, fellow SWWs.

Schaefer doesn't realize how bad his statement goes against common sense and fact. No way in hell is a fight negotiated without Canelo, without Canelo's management, without Floyd!!!! Who the hell does he think he is kidding?

Alvarez’s trainer told boxing writer Erika Montoya that Mayweather wants the fight at 147. In addition, Floyd Mayweather Sr. said earlier this week that the fight would need to take place at welterweight, according to an article by Chris Robinson of BoxingScene.com. Schaefer is wrong! All the experts who post on this message board know what goes on in negotiations because they get their infomation from reliable sources like Fat Dan Rafael and his anonymous sources and geniuses like Floyd Mayweather Sr. and Alvarez's trainer. Damn you Richard Schaefer for setting the record straight!
