What a savage fight! I don't think many people even knew this was on. I suggest everyone let all the people know about this one. I knew jones was tougher and will eventually outlast lebedev. He could have done it sooner if he went to the body.

Ya I was gonna bring that up I remember seeing someone post that and yessir he ruined Lebedevs face for life not that it already wasnt ruined but now hes going to have permanent scar tissue.

And I think Jones did a good attack to the body overall he was mixing in nice hooks and uppercuts to the solar plexus you could tell he drained Lebedevs gas in the later rounds. In the mid rounds I was a bit worried as it looked like Jones was gassed himself, but I think this was due more to age and ring rust then anything Lebedev was doing. Eventually he caught his second wind switched stances and Cottoed Lebedev

Were you guys paying attention to the alleged punch stats they displayed inbetween rounds. Their compubox numbers had Lebedev landing 89-99% of his power shots. Im like WTF?? Although i streamed it here in the States so i dont know if everyone's broadcast showed the same numbers.

Thats what I was saying they were totally off everything was in favor of Lebedev even at the risk of harming him permanently they wanted it to go the distance so he could have retained his title, but The Boss didnt let that happen

Well you clearly didn't watch the RJJ fight, he didn't clobber anything Roy was doing very well and was stopped with like 5 seconds left in the fight, and he was up on one of the cards....in Russia.

            Lebedev isn't very good.

Early fight of the year and fight of the decade. Jones chin is ridiculous, Lebedev's eye was horrendous. Lebedev has to demand the rematch, he was winning the fight handily but it became clear around the 4th round that Jones was more resilient and could outlast Denis in this kind of war.

If there gonna have a rematch they need to do it in Panama this time, Jones already proved his worth and is always having to travel for his big fights. He deserves a homecoming in front of his countrymen especially at this stage in his career and it would be cool to include Chemito Moreno and Ameth Diaz (if he wins his upcoming fight) on the card as well.

Excellent fight..Lebedev showed great heart and Jones showed a great chin !

So surprised that fight wasn't stopped..Lebedev's eye was in awful shape.

Awesome fight! But truth be told lebedev's eye should be all the reason anyone would need for why fighters are thinking more like promoters with the avoiding high risk fight stuff. If he never boxes again after this I hope he was at least paid well.
