Schaefer is working behind the scenes trying to finalize an agreement for a Mayweather-Canelo showdown on September 14th.

I think all that Schaefer's comments do is demonstrate a truth that anyone with two brain cells would recognize. All there needs to be is an accusation from anyone about Floyd for it to catch fire and burn wildly out of control. Every false representation is dredged up and given credence even its already been debunked. So Canelo's camp can say anything they want and the loons that used to follow Pacquiao will now invest all of their simple mindedness into another flawed fighter. Why? There's no easy answer to this just as there are no easy answers to dealing with absolute, complete, and total ignorance.

People already know that Canelo should have a few more fights under his belt BUT that is why this is even funnier. Floyd's side wanted to take what may end up being Canelo's only advantage going into the fight.

Both sides have admitted to the weight issue. So there is some truth to the weight issue. The funny part in all this is seeing the Floyd fans bend over backwards in defending all Floyd asking for a CW of 147 after all these years of complaining about CWs

Similar scenario happened with Manny vs Floyd .... Floyd fans said lets wait to hear from Floyd if he really wants ALL PPV MONEY .... he did!

This weight issue was mentioned by someone on both sides and both said the same thing. So it's normal to think that this is the truth ..... and actually, may still be the truth BUT Schaefer is downplaying it and trying to get Floyd's side to see that it's not a good move, as scene by the reaction in these forums.

It is deja vu all over. We Pacquiao fans know what's going on here. Floyd is trying to get a 90/10 or even a 95/5 deal with OSDT, type of gloves, ring entrance, catchweight of 147, a rematch clause, and a rehydration clause.

It's easier to say "I don't want to fight" rather than make Schaefer jump through hoops trying to figure out what Floyd really wants.

Haha Floyd fans are in a bind.

Two Trainers with entirely different motivations corroborated the same details that Mayweather asked for Canelo to come in lighter. Schaefer is not more of a truth serum than Bob Arum. Majority rules.

So Canelo's trainer's comments set off a tsunami of over a 1000 pages. Schafer rebukes those comments as bs and low and behold it's all Mayweather Sr's fault. This makes perfect sense!

So Scheafer is calling Sr. a liar? Two sources already confirmed Floyd wants to drain Canelo down to 147, the Schaefer seems to be the only one dis*****g this..
