Trainers who are not directly involved in the negotiation and trainers who are not professionals when it comes down to negotiating a fight. I think at this point it is best for people to wait and see how things play out, there is a chance to end up with egg all over your face regardless of what side of the fence you're sitting on.

Almost have to feel bad for Schaefer, lots of unnecessary complications probably coming from all of the chatter. Floyd Sr is a fame-whore though, it makes sense to me he would just spit BS.

I don't get why ppl think Floyd listens to sr. Outside their training relationship sr. Has no say in any negotiations. Floyd has stated who his negotiations team is over and over. Now I'm sure he has bought up the weigh issue. But what sr. Is doing has little to do with that and more to do with his ego and wanting to be more involved than he is. But ppl will jump and run with it as if he hasn't done this before.
