It was a good move for Canelo's guy to bring the 147 demand to the public light.
If forced Sheafer and Floyd to deal with it right away.
I think it was brought up at first but they may have moved past it. This fight needs to happen at 154 for it to have any credibility for Floyd.
I still doubt it happens but will eat plenty of crow if Floyd signs up for it.
Would be his biggest threat in many years.Comment

Yep. That's possible. They don't even need Schaefer. Casual fans
are starting to recognize the colorful, redhead Mexican. Negotiations
may well take over two months and fans will still have time to buy it.
This is a fight you don't have to have second thoughts with if your
name is Money Mayweather. Easy fight, easy money, baby. Still, you
have to wonder why it's taking so long.

ya i think if its fought at 147 it gives people a reason to discredit the victory. i could deal with 151-152 as well thoIt was a good move for Canelo's guy to bring the 147 demand to the public light.

Again, this is my point, by using the term "ducking" when it comes to Floyd. People that see through a lens this small see only a portion of the truth and naturally that portion is one that's cloak in ridicule and hate. In the real world fights don't happen for business reasons since boxing is a ("say it with me") business. And the ducking charge is just one of many depending on what's said by whatever party that wants a negotiating advantage. There is a certain airy zest and zeal in the haters on this site. They remind me of a pack of ravenous wolves, drooling and chomping at the bit. Wolves don't reason they rely on instinct to negotiate their environment, so it is with the pathetic mindless hater.
It's the amount of animus on this site I call into question, especially for a guy that's bringing a tremendous amount of notoriety to a sport we all love. No, he isn't a paragon of virtue, but he is simply the best boxer on the planet.Comment

When Fighters went for it
Don't know about you but i want to see a fighter go for it when they a being paid upwards of 30 mil. Can you picture Robert Guerrero going the distance with ray leonard. Further, Delahoya...Cotto were both Junior Middleweight champs when the were challenged and beaten. Our boy should'nt get to picky about the weight unless, unless, unless he senses a challenge.Comment

A prime example of a Fan Boy. Epic failWhat makes you think they were tomato cans?? You never heard of them because their fights were held in Mexico. Just like you never heard of many fighters from Argentina but are tougher than many cab drivers that Floyd has faced. Floyd is also a cheater and a coward. The world knows he should have at least two losses. And another thinng: Canelo didn´t have an amateur experience like Floyd, idiot. If it´s your debut in pro boxing and you are 15 years old, who are you going to fight, a world champion ?? STFU, idiot.
I'm a fan of Alvarez and pick him to knock Trout out. But I'm not going even attempt to defend the guy record. The guy has 42 fights, when will he step up? 50+, 60+? Through a number out fan boy.Comment
