Fighters can play with weight in the matchmaking process , but in the real world a good big man will beat a good little man , fighters know this and thats where politics and CWs come into it to try and sell a fair fight , if a guy has to come down its not a fair fight , this at 147 is not fair to Canelo , 154 is not fair to Floyd , so where do you go from here .

But its not about being fair. Its about Floyd having the staqe to show how good he can be, and being too good for Canelo, even at 154, and if Floyid fights Canelo he can beat Canelo at 154 if he tries.

You cant drag others into it , because others are not Floyd and Canelo , Floyd is smaller than Leonard for starters , you guys love to throw blankets over things when nothing is really the same .

But regardless of all that , where does Floyd go after it on beating Canelo , I like the fight at any time I just think with the 5 fight contract , the jump up again at his age only to come back down is not a good idea , I think these are the things they are really looking at , I see a fight like this as being a retirement fight not the 2nd in a 6 fight contract .

Floyd will never fight em. He may posses the skill to beat Canelo just like he had the skill to beat Pacqiao, but he doesnt have the "GUTS" to find out.

This kind of reminds me of the time good ole Oskie came out during one of the negotiations between FMJ and Pacquiao and said that they were "getting really, really close [to announcing the fight]", and Schaeffer came out the next day, in clean up mode, saying Oscar had been "misquoted".

Too bad Schaeffer made a gigantic fool of himself, because the interview had been filmed on camera. LMFAO!! I thought for sure the next day that Schaeffer would announce that he had been "misquoted about the misquote".

I'm so glad there are other fans who know floyd hand picks fighters in the decline or who he knows are slow with one hand he can take away. as for everyone else he fought cotto at 154 wanted him to be fresh not drained at his natural weight so same should go for canelo.
