Nope. Nobody cut Manny slack when he fought Margacheto at 150. Why would Floyd be any different? That would make fans.....hypocrites.

I think part of it is that Floyd's ego is so massive that he doesn't like it when people try to force him into a fight. He goes the other way just to prove that he don't care what people think.

yet his statements like they "i beat people who the fans want me to beat and they create another opponent."

He always complains about fans hating him and not giving him credit yet people like you say totally contradictory analysis like he doesnt care what people think.

He goes on radio stations complaing about fans all the time not giving him support literally says i dont care about fans yet on the very same interview ask fans to support him.

ppl really shouldn't be surprised. Sr has always been saying he doesn't want Floyd fighting 54 pounders, even in sparring. With Roger as head trainer a Canelo fight would have been more likely.

I think he believes it don't matter who he fights, we should just feel fortunate enough to watch him perform vs. anybody. I don't think Floyd gives a damn about the fans.
