The age disparity more than makes up for the difference in weight.

That is not the point - the point is that I you ask another fighter to fight you, then you should not demand the fighter to come to your weight. If Flopkins want to fight at 175, then he should just ask another LHW fighter.

I guess that Flopkins wants a fighter with a name from Europe, because Flopkins struggling to make serious money in US. He knows that if he fights at name from Europe then there will also follow a bucket of money with him.

I originally gave Froch and Hearn grief for looking to turn the fight down at a Catchweight, when Froch knows and said before he could do a catchweight.

I give him credit if he takes the fight, catchweight or not, and Bhop said catchweight.

I still think when Froch thinks about it - he'll go to LHW for it coz it'll make him a two weight World Champ, but that's Froch's call at the end of the day.

I'd personally and boxing fans would obviously value the win a lot more at LHW than catch, but still credit to Froch if he takes the Hopkins fight, coz I didn't think he would.

Tell will tell if its just words or it happens.

This is Froch saying - look I respect the old guy, but the fight isn't happening.

Good on him. Froch isn't a big guy and at his age, moving up in weight is a bad idea considering all the big fights are at super middle.

A lot of unproven guys like Groves, DeGale etc.

Hopkins is a legend and well know to the general boxing fan, and v well known in the UK, far more in the UK than Ward due to his fight with Calzaghe.

There's none at SMW bigger in status than Hopkins at CW or LHW and believe me - Hopkins would do huge tickets in the UK and Froch Hopkins would have cross over appeal due to the US UK factor.

I hope the fights happen for the Press Confrences alone - they be pure gold!
