    lol "big trouble". He came right up and dodged a punch and threw a jab. He wasn't in nowhere near big trouble.

    I've always felt Kessler is a better 12 round fighter than Froch. They have pretty similar power, but Kessler is much busier. He throws a lot more punches and if he works on Froch's body early like last time, Froch will slow down late in the fight.

    Kessler by decision. I really believe that.

        Original Poster - So, you're changing your bet because a few pundits agree with you? Who you pick should be based on the attributes of both fighters, their styles and the context of the fight itself, not superstition.

        I have the fight roughly as a 50/50, but give the edge to Froch based on him having hometown advantage. The likelihood is that Froch will probably get the decision in any close fight and he may also benefit from the support to really lay it Kessler. If I bet on this fight at all I'll be backing Froch on points or if the odds are reasonable enough, either fighter to win on points. I feel both fighters are too tough to be stopped by the other, although in what is likely to be a war-like fight, both guys could fade.

          Froch got this.

          But it is still gonna be a competitive fight. Especially if Kessler continues the bodywork he did in their last fight

            my point was more of a sarcastic comment on how rubbish the establishment pundits are to be honest mate. Like you this fights a coin toss so was surprised all the pundits went for froch.

              Really looking forward to this one. I'm taking Froch, by a **** hair.

              I think this one could get brutal in the championship rounds. I wouldn't be shocked if either one stopped the other late.

              Should be a great fight.

                Froch won the first fight in my opinion, Kessler got the decision because it was his hometown. If it's anything like the first one, no way Kessler gets the decision in the UK. But theoretically Kessler could win by decision if he knocks Froch down a few times in the fight.

                  Which rounds did he win?

                  Yes it was a close fight, but Froch threw less and less from rounds 7-12.

                  Punch stats:
                  * Kessler - Total Thrown: 765, Total Connects: 147 (19%)
                  * Froch - Total Thrown: 546, Total Connects: 98 (18%)

                  Seeing that Kessler was hurt in round 5 and Froch was hurt in round 8, those nullify each other. Kessler outlanded Froch in nearly every round.

                    i favour froch to win. how close the fight is, or even if kessler is to win, depends on which kessler shows up. i sort of have a nagging feeling that kessler is on the downward slide whilst froch, despite continuous hard match-ups in recent years, is at an all-time high.

                      I think even Sauerland have conceded any decision as both promotional companies will be keen to cash in on a third fight. Kessler would have to really dominate to take a decision. IMO if Kessler wins it will be via stoppage.
