            speed is relative to size, and along those lines i think patterson and ali are two of the fastest fighters ever. i wouldn't put mosley on the list. otherwise you have good nods.

            willie pep had terrific foot work and upper body movement. fast hands too.

              as with all fighters, robinson was faster in his youth. his WW fights aren't well filmed, so we've got to go on reports of experts and fighters from the time. i've only come across a few clips of him at WW on the internet, and you never have a full fight. if they're out there they're news to me. he's well filmed at MW, though. he's very fast. he keeps throwing, too. as you backed up he might throw three hooks.

              amazing fighter. speed, power, and a granite chin. maybe the best chin ever. and to boot he was a 5'11" WW in the 40's. that was almost unheard of.
